2019 “Best Affordable Senior Housing” Gold Nugget Award of Merit

JETT Landscape Architecture + Design is pleased to announce that Tabora Gardens, one of JETT’s projects completed last year, recently received a 2019 Gold Nugget Award of Merit in the “Best Affordable Senior Housing Community” category. Tabora Gardens, the first project built in California utilizing the State Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention Program, provides 85 affordable homes for seniors in Antioch, CA. JETT designed community gardens, garden pavilions, community patios, stormwater planting, and a meditation ring enhanced by a rich palette of native and drought tolerant plants. The project is a finalist for the Grand Award, which will be presented on May 31, 2019 at the Gold Nugget Ceremony in San Francisco.
