Located in downtown Berkeley on the very prominent corner of Ashby and San Pablo Avenues, Aquatic Ashby is a 78 unit, 6-story apartment Located in West Berkeley on the very prominent corner of Ashby and San Pablo Avenues, Aquatic Ashby is a 78 unit, 6-story apartment building near Berkeley’s waterfront and part of Read Investment’s Aquatic Apartment projects. Designed by Trachtenberg Architects, the development enhances the emerging, denser urban fabric of Southwest Berkeley along San Pablo Avenue, while respecting the existing neighborhood context and scale. It adds much needed housing in Berkeley and contributes to the stated goals of the Ashby and San Pablo designated node.

JETT designed a range of landscape amenities including two large roof decks with sweeping views of the Golden Gate and East Bay Hills, private podium terraces, and a ground level café terrace that provides a buffered outdoor dining space.
