MBC Biolabs – 930 Brittan Avenue

JETT Landscape Architecture + Design worked with MBH Architects on this biolab incubator that accommodates up to 50 companies in a novel approach to life science research. Located just off San Carlos’ Industrial Road corridor, MBC Biolabs’ newest location offers 30,000 SF of lab and office space for biotechnology entrepreneurs in a full-service co-working incubator model. Laboratories, office space, meeting rooms, and in-house staff support the transformation of ideas into data. JETT integrated a secure courtyard with seamless indoor-outdoor connection, flexible seating arrangements, and power for tenants to work outdoors. Parking lots, stormwater bio-treatment planters, and streetscapes feature native and drought resistant plantings, while site furnishings serve the building users and the public.
