Portico

Portico brings a 378-unit multifamily development to Oakland’s 65-acre Brooklyn Basin master-planned community, situated on the Oakland Estuary at Clinton Basin and the former Ninth Street Shipping Terminal. Wrapped on two side by the Bay Trail, Portico offers unparralled views of downtown Oakland, Alameda, and the San Francisco skyline beyond.

JETT enjoyed designing a full suite of outdoor amenities. A rooftop sky lounge and dog park; a resort-style pool and spa deck overlooking the water with an adjacent game courtyard and BBQ counters; a wind-sheltered courtyard featuring fireplaces, hammocks, and soft seating; and a kitchen courtyard featuring Pizza Oven, BBQs and community tables for residents and guests. The community’s fitness space has a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor, while the clubhouse, community wine room, game room and leasing lobby lounge provide views across the lush landscape to the water and city.

Portico’s outdoor spaces connect to the site enhancements that Brooklyn Basin offers: a network of waterfront parks, a promenade, restored wetlands, and the Bay Trail for pedestrians and bicycles.
