160 Spear Street

JETT Landscape Architecture + Design transformed this under-used urban space from a dreary passageway into an open, contemporary plaza with sculptural enhancements to create higher visibility and a welcoming entrance for the office tower. The new plaza provides space for outdoor tables, small group gatherings, and a sidewalk for the theater.

The plaza is now a favorite gathering space for lunchtime crowds and outdoor meetings along the busy Spear Street corridor. This transformation improved the building’s identity and brought greater foot traffic for ground floor retail and restaurants.
