Sumner Heritage Park

JETT is leading a team with the City of Sumner for the design and renovation of Heritage Park in the heart of the downtown neighborhood. The process includes community outreach and the development of design alternatives based on JETT’s creative placemaking process. Activation and events are a major part of the program for downtown Sumner and the park needs to function and flex for daily use and large scale events.

The result will be a park Master Plan guided by community and stakeholder participation, in person and virtually, while developing 30% Plans for developing initial project phases and collaborating on wayfinding.

The Master Plan will weave together existing patterns in the downtown neighborhood with a vision for active and passive recreation, host events for the community, and create a central gathering hub for families and visitors.
