Tabora Gardens
The first project built utilizing California’s State Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention Program, Tabora Gardens Senior Apartments provide 85 affordable homes for seniors in Antioch, CA. The 3.2-acre site is extensively landscaped with gathering and seating areas, vegetable gardens, and a meditation space. From the soft textures of the colorful gardens to the weathered steel meditation ring and wooden accents found throughout the landscaping, Tabora Gardens offers a sense of permanence and stability. Situated adjacent to an open space preserve and regional trail, the project borrows views of the rolling East Bay Hills beyond, connecting the project to its natural environment and making it an ideal location for senior living.
