San Jose’s First Tiny Home Community for Homeless People Opens Soon

This November, residents will be moving in to San Jose’s first Tiny Homes transitional homeless housing sites project. Collaborating closely with Habitat for Humanity, JETT was privileged to design the site layout and landscape for this and one other San Jose project. We designed the radial layout and open space to create a non-institutional sense of community for the residents. The site includes housing, common-use buildings, community gardening areas, dog-runs, and other exterior gathering areas to reinforce the idea that those less fortunate can get back on their feet and integrate into a caring society.
