The Clancy

A collaboration with AXIS/GFA Architecture and EDG Design, this $30 million renovation transformed a former Courtyard by Marriott into The Clancy Autograph Collection Hotel, a boutique South of Market hospitality destination. The program included the hotel’s indoor and outdoor public spaces, lobby, reception area, dining and bar venues, meeting spaces, and guest rooms. JETT’s contribution included a comprehensive redesign of the central courtyard (a designated privately owned public open space – POPOS), arrival experience, streetscape improvements, and the creation of a covered outdoor flexible lounge space. The design blends the vibe of the historically industrial SoMa neighborhood with art works, custom materials, and the high-tech scene which permeates this downtown San Francisco district.
