Josephine

Located at the southern terminus of Columbia City’s retail district, the Josephine Urban Village is part of a multi-building development that is within a 10-minute walk to the local light rail station in one of Seattle’s emerging walkable neighborhoods. A series of open spaces connect throughout the topographically challenged site, uniting the neighborhood to Rainier Avenue South’s business district. Pedestrian corridors weave through the village, activating retail, live-work, and residential units. Restoration of the wetland buffer transforms the living experience for residents, providing natural interactions with native environments while living in the urban core.
